Dorothy Zolandz founded D-Z Impact to strengthen communities by strengthening the not-for-profits that serve them. She has thirty years of experience in not-for-profit leadership. She helps not-for-profit leaders increase their impact by assisting them as they guide their organizations through transitions, and build their team’s capacity to think, learn, and act strategically.

Her approach involves partnership with her clients, jointly examining processes, roles and relationships in the context of mission and goals. She helps leaders sharpen strategies, unstick processes, and clarify and coordinate roles and responsibilities. She is particularly known as an effective coach, facilitator, and consensus-builder.

In her career as a not-for-profit manager and executive, she consistently achieved improvements in operational effectiveness, performance, and efficiency, driving gains in revenue, growth, and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
